At this kick-off meeting, we'll consider ideas for international and domestic trips. If you have suggestions, it will be most helpful to do some research ahead of time regarding the trip/s, to include destination, number of days, price point, time of year, approximate number of people, and a tour operator if you have looked at specific ones.
Our recent survey and trip evaluations show interest in small ship/river cruises, railway tours, bike/barge trips, guided bus tours, and all-inclusive resorts. The price point most respondents are comfortable with ranges from $2500-$6000.
This will be the first of several meetings to generate and research ideas, then narrow down and select trips of most interest and best value for club members.
